HAPPY 2014 !!!! + My resolution of Happiness

HAPPY 2014 LOVED ONES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy 2014 to you and your loved ones, i hope that 2014 will bring you as many of your hearts' desires as possible! Stay healthy , happy , energetic , and positive thinking!

I decided to celebrate this new year with a change of the blog's layout. What do you think? I find it dreamy, lilacy (i love lilac) and i also love the books! I hope you are enjoying it as much as i am.

My dear readers, i know that for once again i have been absent for so long but it is something that you should be getting accustomed by now. I don't intend to give up on my blog, it is just that i write whenever i feel time-pressure free. And i never forget you. I hope that you as well will cope with me and make do with my blog posts' frequency as it is. I will try to post whenever possible, whatever possible means.

MOVING ON dear ones i though to start this year of with a simple but meaningful post.

A few weeks ago, i fell upon this video on youtube. The video, is a speech by Sam Berns that talks about happiness in one's life and 3 ways to achieve it.

Summing up these 3 ways towards a happier life:

1. Don't waste energy and focus on things that you can't do because there is so much that you CAN do

2. Surround yourself with people you want to be around

3. Keep moving forward

Bonus: Never miss a party if you can help it ;)

Generally i tend to be depressed and overestimate things. I was in a need of nice philosophical words and so i really watched this video with my full attention. I was deeply moved. I don't cry generally at speaches but this time i cried. And i didn't cry because of this young boy and his incurable disease that leads directly and unmistakably to untimely death. I cried because of how true his words are. Because how wise and strong he is despite his age.

So i am not forwarding this message to you as to feel sorry for him and lucky that you are healthy. Yes, to think that (that you are lucky to be healthy) is also a good thought. But what i am forwarding this youtube video is to help you revise your life. Think these 3 ways towards happiness and if you think you could use some extra happiness in you life, implement them.

These small precious moments fill us with wisdom and help us move on.

Last but not least i believe that Sam is an invaluable speaker. He has a great way with the audience.

That was all my dear cat readers. I hope you found this post inspirational and full with positive energy. In case you didn't watch the whole video i recomend you scroll up and watch it all. All 12:45 minutes. They are really a treasure.

Till the next time,
kisses and a paw
