It's been a long time since my last post. :/ I hope you haven't forgotten me : )
Well summer sure is here and i hope my posts will be more frequent from now on.
This time i have for you a post about my favorite things about summer. To say it in other words these are the things that i am currently doing or planning to spend my time on during the summer :D
Firstly .....
Summer is the perfect time to warch girly movies! Movies that can lift your spirits, make you dream or put you in the mood of falling in love......
Above i give you 4 examples.
Next
Old books , old childhood memories , books of mystery, horror, adventure.
This summer i plan to borrow books from my local public library and read all the books there are from two of my favorite titles : Goosebumps and The Three Investigators.
Moving on
Wearing high heels and drinking cocktails with the girls :) Oh, lovely summer.
This video is excactly what i mean
And finally
Camping and doing all sorts of crazy, fun stuff.
So what do you guys think of them? What are your plans for the summer?
Till the next time my loves,
kisses and kitten hugs
Incontinuation of the previous post i will share with you some more impressions from this past event. I am going to warn you, what i am about to write is my bad impressions. Don't expect any compliments to follow.
So let's begin.
Dear Mrs Madonna. You are almost 60 years old. We have already seen most of your body through all these years. Please no more sour cherry, as it is an expression we have in my country that means we had enough.
Ah, the Olsen sisters. I know that everybody comments how well-dressed they are. But i disagree. It is just my humble opinion though. Especially Ashley in the second picture looks like a sunflower.......
What i find really interesting though is their hair that always have this ''i just came from sea'' style and their make up. Is is enchanting, it captivates you in a weird way.
Ginnifer Goodwin. Nothing bad to say here (nothing good either). I just found really clever how her eyebrows and make-up look like a continuation of the dress.
Not good. Really. It doesn't even compliments her body. The only positive is the impressive flaming tail of the dress.
The sweet Katy Perry. Not bad, not bad. Really clever. Her stying is inspired from the Byzantine Empress Theodora (below). Also i liked the make-up.
Not thaaaaaaaaat bad but not good either.
And now my dears, BRACE YOURSELVES!

Why? Why? Why?
Well i am gonna leave now cause my eyes started to hurt after all this :P
How have you been? Myself, i had a lovely weekend with lots of food and relaxation. I also started watching Game of Thrones !!!!!!! (take this as a hint for a future post)
Just yesterday i happen to fall upon this image of Taylor Swift
How do you think of it? Is is just me or they have something in common? The following pics also caught my eye. They all are from the "PUNK: Chaos To Couture" Costume Institute Gala, which took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on May 6.
Ladies in order of appearance : Amber Heard, Anne Hathaway, Minka Kelly, Dakota Fanning, Allison Williams and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
So what do you say?
Is this trend, the thigh-slit transparency and transparency in other forms, really a trend or just my idea? And what do you think of it????
The cat's opinion is that with moderation and classy designs, it can be really sexy in tandem with elegance. The perfect combination. So if it is here to stay, it's fine by me.
How are you? How has life been treating you the last days? I hope all of you are doing fine.
As long as for me the past days have been kinda weird. Good events mixed with bad ones, with awkward ones and all of it blend together with weariness. But don't worry. I'm never tired when it comes talking to you!
This time i decided to write about something that i promised you long ago but never found the time to.My favorite pc games!
I am not the greatest gamer there is, but i have some interesting gaming past and i am impatient to share with you my all time favorite games.
Ah! This game brings to me so may feelings. It is undoubtedly my favorite game ever! I have played it non-stop since the time i discovered it and never, NEVER, get bored. The titles i have played are:
Heroes of Might and Magic is a game of strategy. The game takes place on a ''map'' where you have your castles and heroes, which heroes can recruit creatures from the castles, in order to create an army so as to expand and take control over the entire map. Silly and simple as it may seem, this game never ends, always offering you the same thrill as the first time (for me at least).
From the three titles, my favorite by far is HoMM 2 : The Succesion Wars. The graphics may be simple but it's not its graphics that you rely on for enjoyment. It is easy to navigate and use, quick to install, save and load games, like literally it is installed on your pc in something like 2 minutes! Extrordinary. And you can now have a never-ending game, always providing you with enjoyment and that doesn't take any place on your computer.
The HoMM 3 follows the same concept as HoMM 2 just with different creatures, new spells and abilities, always having the same advantages as i mentioned above. One negative thing ,my opinion always, is that it is a more demanding game. You either have to use cheats or be a decisive player, because the enemy evolves really quickly.
About HoMM 4, i don't have something to say (simply because i never played it) and about HoMM 5 it is an ambiguous game. Still is an exellent game, with nice graphics, capable of keeping you interested, but doesn't follow the exact ideas of the first versions.
It takes much longer to load, the characters take their time to move on the ''map'' , the map is no longer a map but a 3d top view of the game's world, making it harder for you to make out where you want to move your character.
It is really improved on it's gameplay in comparison with the previous versions (more spells , more character and creature abilities , better race specification ) but for me a quick game , that gains your interest for the strategies that you implement than the impressive visuals , is worth more.
That's why i have played Heroes of Might and Magic II, more times than i can remember.
There is also a Heroes of Might and Magic number 6, which i haven't read the best reviews about ( that's why i never gave it a go ) and i also read that a number 7 is on the way. We shall se. Till then the only thing i could wish for is more maps for the HoMM 2 game, as i have run out of them :(
Some more ''childhood'' memories here. As most of you i presume , i have played all the Lara Croft : Tomb Raider series games , except for the first two titles.
I won't tire you with details, because it would take ages for me to say my opinion about each game (if anyone is interested let me know and i will post is as a different post in the future), i just want to highlight 3 things :
1. Tomb Raider number 6 , called Angel of Darkness , is crap (those who disagree i apologise) full of glitches and a sick storyline.
2. The new generation Laras ( from game number 7 and afterwards ) rock!!!
3. If i had to choose a favorite title , i would choose among Laras number 4 (Last Revelation) , 5 (Chronicles) , 8 (Anniversary) .
Hehe, another ''worn out'' game. This one is really addictive. It's like playing with dolls but on you pc.
Among Sims 2 and Sims 3, i would choose Sims 2, because i find that Sims 3 take forever to load, and that even though your sim's abilities are of a bigger variety, they are in fact so many that make the gameplay more complex.
Sims 2 is a more ''safe'' choice, providing efficient enjoyment.
Prince of Persia it was a long time ago that i played it and only the title ''Sands of time'' . Still i remember it was a nice action game, with some nice killing, interesting and original storyline, including some romance and nice scenery. It is an old game though, and i doubt it can ofter the same amout of enjoyment today.
Another good action game, with cool fighting gameplay. The storyline isn't something impressive , but it gains a bonus from the excellent graphics, scenery aaaaaaaaaaaaand its hot boys ;)
Finally we have Dungeon Siege, one of my most played games (i think it comes second after HoMM 2).
Again nothing too impressive, it is an old game, but it saves and loads really quick and offers you never-ending enjoyment with its simple gameplay.
All you do is that you recruit a group of warriors (maximum 8 i think) , each one according to his fighting method can turn into an archer, soldier , nature mage or combat mage, and what you do is go on a single mission on the map, following a certain route , killing enemies on the way and gaining levels.
During your travel the scenery changes, as well as the enemy creatures, and your heroes can collect different weapons and artifacts.
I have tried to play Dungeon Siege 2, but i didn't really like it so i gave it up, and lately it has been released the Dungeon Siege 3 game which i am curious to give it a try.
So what do you think about my favorite games? I can't wait to listen your opinions on these games or even on others that you have played.
Today i don't know why but i am feeling kinda happy. How is your day?
At my last shopping spree (i didn't buy anything, i just saw what was currently on the shelves) some few items caught my eye making me wanting to buy them. Soon enough some pieces may find a way into my closet but not all of them. :( As you will see for yourselves i list 3 pair of shoes which is an exaggeration. What would you guys do in that case? How do you choose one thing when you want them all???
Getting into the fashion then i give you the list of things that if i had plenty of money would have bought.
See here
What do you guys think of my choices?? I am in love with all of them. I tell you if i had more time to spend at the shops, looking through the clothes, more items would be listed above. Anyway its better like this, so that i won't be in more thinking about clothes that i probably won't buy.
How have you been doing these past days??? I hope excellent.
I am really happy right now, because i am about to write a post about a subject that i really like! Gay and drag queen films. I am not gay myself nor i have gay friends but i am gay-friendly and i really enjoy these movies. I find them to be happy and relaxing (note, in the movies that follow not all films are happy and relaxing). So i thought this Sunday to make a list of some of my favorite gay films.
BONUS!
Before we start i will post a gay (with the literal meaning) song to put us into mood
What a funny, colourful and weird film! Weird meaning that a lot of uncommon things happen just like the american pie movies.
The story is about 4 gay friends that have just finished school and are about to go to college. They never have had a relationship before, and so they decide to make the best out of their summer, placing a bet that everybody must meet somebody this summer. And that's were all the good stuff start to happen........
I really enjoyed it but i must warn you that it contains some nudity. Not extreme nudity, but nudity non the less. Also there are a lot sex hints and conversations in this movie, so if you feel offended don't watch it.
If not, i feel it's a nice movie to watch with friends and can guarantee you some moments of laugh.
Hint: I would recommend it only if you are over 16/18 years old
Another Gay sequel
Genre: Gay , Comedy
Duration: 1,5 hours and a liiiiiitle bit more
Year: 2008
It is the sequel of the previous movie and it follows the same logic. Funny, colourful, gay themed, weird things happening.
This time, after the 4 boys have had an awesome summer last time, this summer they decide to go on a gay competition and challenge their luck.
I didn't enjoy this movie as the previous one, nor it's humor. It's not a masterpiece that you must see, nor a decent sequel that you should watch. If for whatever reason though you night need a gay movie to watch, it is a choice.
Hint : Again as i recall it, there exist sexual innuendos
I didn't have the chance to see this film only i randomly happen to see its trailer on imdb. For that reason i cannot give you my opinion on this one, but from the trailer i can tell its going to be a great film.
A great plus (from my point of view) is the handsome protagonist ;) (he also has played Nightcrawler from the X-men 2 movie)
Keillers Park
Genre: Gay , Drama Duration: 1,5 hours Year: 2006
My oh my. What a depressive movie. When i remember it i want to cry :(
I don't want to spoil it for you guys so i won't get into more detail. Briefly the plot is about a grown man that just realizes he is gay and starts a relationship with an open gay. Their relationship faces the critique ofsociety as well as other weird things happen.
It isn't a too tough film to watch but not a plain one either. If you want something more lighthearted pick another choice.
Eyes Wide Open
Genre: Gay , Drama Duration: 1,5 hours Year: 2009
Another serious film.
It is about the father of a strict jewish family that works as a butcher. One day a fugitive young man asks of him for a job/shelter and so he gets to stay at the butcher shop. As days pass by their coexistence evolves, leading to results that change both their lives. The dark part of this film is again the critique ofsociety and the strictness of judaism.
Very beautiful film, with a deeper meaning, which with no second thoughts, i suggest watching.
Connie and Carla
Genre: Gay/Drag , Comedy Duration: 1,5 hours and a bit Year: 2004
And now my dears time for the drag queen films!!!
This one is about two childhood friends that witness a murder and in order not to get caught by the murderers, they run away to Los Angeles and take undercover as drag queens.
While in drag, they make new friends, ........fall in love and become a dinner-theater success.
This movie is definitely easy and fun to watch with the whole family.
The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert
Genre: Gay/Drag , Comedy , Drama Duration: 1,5 hours and a bit Year: 1994
Ahhhhhh memories........This has got to be my first gay themed movie. I believe it was the one that started my love for these kind of films.
I think that this movie is a drag queen classic. With impressive costumes and make up, many drag queen shows during the film and a perfect cast! (Hugo Weaving plays in this film)
It is really entertaining and i really suggest you give it a try. It is also suitable for the whole family.
Closing today's post i leave you with a clip/song from the movie Priscilla: Queen of the desert that will leave a smile on your face and give you a taste of the film.
Until next time my loves
Kisses and a paw
And don't forget, i am always happy to read your own opinions and suggestions!
Again i have a ''Currently in my head'' post for you. I know that lately i only write this kind of posts but i can't help it. A ''currently in my head'' post, should be written right away while it is still current.
So, not to loose any more time, just a small post about what is currently in my head, which this time as we speak is Gwyneth Paltrow's stunning legs!!!!!
My gosh..........I just had a heart attack of perfection! I mean they are long, thin, and in the second picture they are in perfect alignment with her dress. Which, now that i mentioned it, i find it really special, i loooove the transparency and it reminds me kinda of a superhero-kimono.
If only my legs would look like that :(
Moving on, i have some more photos for you of Gwyneth's stunning legs, from another appearance (the previous were from her Iron Man 3 premiere)
Legs, legs and again legs..... Oh well. If you got them then you should show them right?
